It looks like Steve Nash’s quest for history won’t be put on hold for yet another evening.

As was first reported by the Arizona Republic’s Paul Coro midday Wednesday , the Suns guard is expected give it a go tonight against the Hornets despite a left thigh bruise that kept him out against the Mavericks on Monday.

“It feels good enough to give it a shot,” Nash told Coro.

His return to the lineup will be a welcomed one as, in the last 14 games, Nash is averaging 16.1 points, 10.6 assists on 90-of-154 (.584) shooting.

With seven assists on Wednesday Nash will set the all-time franchise record that is currently held by former Sun, and current mayor of Sacramento, Kevin Johnson.
