Vote Suns Gorilla For "Most Awesome Mascot"

By casting their votes, fans can help out the world famous Suns Gorilla in the inaugural “Hall of Game Awards” which will air on Cartoon Network on Friday, February 25 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT).

The Gorilla joins a strong cast of nominees from other professional sports, including Bango from the Milwaukee Bucks, T-Rac from the Tennessee Titans and the Phillie Phanatic in the category of “Most Awesome Mascot.”

The show will be hosted by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, who will hand out other awards including “He’s Got Game” (best male athlete), “She’s Got Game” (best female athlete) and “That’s How I Roll” (most stylish athlete).

    The Phoenix Suns Gorilla is the best mascot ever! I remember growing up I always wanted a gorilla stuffed animal. I begged my parents for years. Then one night, when I was nine years old, my parents went to a game and brought me home a gorilla. I would take it with me everywhere and never slept without it snuggled in my arms. I am almost 25 years old now and I still sleep with him every night, snuggled in my arms tight. To me no other mascots exsist. He’s the best!
